Will we definitely see a tiger?
No honest person promises a tiger. It is a wild animal in a real forest, not an exhibit. What you can control is the odds: the right park, the right zone and the right season change them enormously, and that is exactly the part Jai plans. And on the days the tiger does not show, the jungle still gives you plenty. Learning to read it is half the trip.
Which months are best?
The core season runs roughly October to June. Summer is hot and it is also when sightings peak, because the forest dries and everything comes to water. Most core zones close for the monsoon. If your dates are fixed, tell us the dates and we pick the park. If the park is fixed, we pick the month.
How far ahead should we book?
Safari permits for the popular zones sell out well before the date, weeks ahead in season and earlier around holidays. Hotels are the easy part. Permits are the constraint, so earlier is always better.
What will it cost?
It depends on the park, the zone, the vehicle and where you stay, so a number without your dates would be a guess. Send the form and you get a straight figure. And if something is not worth paying for, Jai will say so.
Can we bring kids?
Yes, families do it all the time. The jeeps are open, winter mornings are properly cold, and every park has its own rules. Mention the ages in the form and the plan will account for them.
