The deadliest big cat in recorded history. She was driven out of Nepal and crossed into Kumaon, and by the time Jim Corbett shot her in 1907 the count stood at 436 people. What usually gets left out is why. A hunter's bullet had already broken her canines years earlier, and a tiger that cannot take its usual prey takes what it can.
